Posting Captioned Videos on YouTube

Have you ever tried putting a closed captioned YouTube video onto your website?  To make sure the captions will automatically be on those videos, here is how to get it to work properly.

After the movie URL, use quotation marks before and after inserting the following information:  &cc_load_policy=1. inside quotation marks.

The default setting for your video would be for closed captions.  A person watching your video has the option to turn it off.

For an example of how to do this, check out YouTube’s help page Showing Captions by Default.
