CG Docket No. 10-51

5/27/10—The FCC released a Declaratory Ruling, Order and NPRM on Video Relay Services.  The Commission reiterated Interstate TRS Fund payments may be suspended to providers that do not submit to audits.  The FCC also adopted an interim rule addressing the certification of provider information for VRS calls, requiring the CEO, CFO, or other senior executive of a provider submitting minutes to the Fund Administrator for compensation to certify the minutes were handled in compliance with section 225 of the Act and Commission’s rules and orders. The NPRM seeks comment on ways to detect and prevent fraud and misuse in the provision of VRS, including the tentative conclusion requiring all VRS call centers be located in the United States, and procedures for suspension of payments to VRS providers.

5/27/10—The FCC granted a request from Sorenson for payment of VRS calls handled on August 7, 2009.  Sorenson said it had technical difficulties which prevented it from capturing certain call data information required by the Commission’s rules.

It is very difficult for Sorenson Commuications VRS because Purple VRS , ZVRS (CSDVRS), and other VRS servicers have asked their clients, families or friends to use their services in Sorenson VP200 when they make calls. They should be considered as thief. Can you prove auditors which devices customers or clients use when they use other VRS in Sorenson VP200 ?
