My Kind of Yogi

My car crunches over the gravel as I pull into the parking lot of the yoga studio. Climbing up the rickety stairs of the wood building, I’m filled with hope.

This is the ninth yoga instructor I’ve tried since moving to DC. For whatever reason, I can’t seem to find a teacher that feels like the right fit. In part, I’m grieving the loss of my instructor from Los Angeles whom I adored. And I admit I don’t mind the teachers I’ve practiced with here, but I find yoga easier to maintain when I feel a strong authentic connection.

A few months ago I tried a class where the teacher did seem like a great fit. But when I returned, she was no longer there. I scoured the web searching for her to pop up in another studio around town. I only had a first name to go off of, but I think I might have found her and that’s why I’m here today.

I sign in at the desk and walk into the studio. The teacher is asking the class to get two blocks, a blanket, and a strap. Yep, that’s her. I can tell by the sound of her voice.

She walks by me on her way to close the door of the studio, but she pauses before reaching her destination. She watches me as I pull back my hair back into a loose ponytail.

“Hi. I’m Jenny. I’m a drop-in,” I say.

“I know you,” she says.

I sigh in relief. She remembers me.

“I took a restorative yoga class you taught in another studio a few months ago. I’ve been looking for you ever since. You’re hard to find,” I explain.

“Yes,” she nods, remembering the class. “It’s taken me awhile to get going and figure out where to set up shop.”

Well no wonder I couldn’t find her. She’s a new teacher. Later, I discover that she had a health scare which caused her to re-evaluate her entire career as a molecular biologist. Once she recovered, she decided to become a yoga teacher. Love that (I had a similar experience three years ago and that’s when I began writing).

We open by chanting three Oms. Then she tells us to be sure not to miss class three weeks from now. She’ll be teaching it outside where we will all face the trees so we can experience a “yoga foliage festival.” Oh yeah, she’s my kind of yogi. Š

It’s Easier to Find Vardenafil HCL for Sale Online

One of the most embarrassing situations a man could ever have is being unable to produce an erection during sexual intercourse.  This not only insults the female partner, but it also questions the man’s erectile functions.  If this situation occurs frequently for the man, it is not only frustrating for him, but it may also trigger fear as the possibility that he is now impotent is becoming much clearer.  Erectile dysfunction (ED) is perhaps the most undesirable sexual condition a man could ever have as this condition not only prevents him from having successful sexual intercourses, but also psychologically torments him because the main aspect of what makes him a man is no longer in functioning order.

Fortunately, there are now PDE5 inhibitor drugs like vardenafil hcl that can help him achieve the erection he needs for sex.   These ED medications are very effective because they facilitate effective transport of blood towards the cavities inside the penis.  The best thing about PDE5 inhibitor drugs is that using such drug does not give you an instant erection but the capacity to produce one.  This means that as long as the drug is in effect in your system, you will be capable of producing an erection when sexually stimulated.

Vardenafil hcl is the generic version of the popular and very effective ED medication, Levitra.  However, due to the high cost of branded ED medications, most men with ED who cannot afford such luxury, especially if they frequently need to take the medication on a daily basis due to an active sex life, prefer to use Levitra’s generic alternative because both drugs basically have the same overall effect.  The problem though is finding vardenafil hcl for sale.  There are hardly any pharmacies that have vardenafil hcl for sale on their shops.  And those that do have vardenafil hcl for sale in their shops may not even be in your locality, thus making it hard for you to locate these stores with vardenafil hcl for sale. If you are looking for vardenafil hcl for sale, your best bet will be to look for it online.  It is actually easier to find vardenafil hcl for sale online because you allow the search engine to do the search work for you.  The truth is that there are many online merchants that have vardenafil hcl for sale among their list of products.  There are even online merchants with websites particular to having just vardenafil 20mg for sale.  With the number of websites to choose from, all you need to do is find the right one that makes the best offer in terms of price per pill along with shipping costs.

Most men with ED these days actually buy their ED medications online.  It is not only convenient buying such products online, but you are able to maintain secrecy over your embarrassing situation as well.  The truth is, most men will not discuss their erectile issues with other men or even their friends.  This makes the ability to buy ED treatment products online a great relief because you are safe from prying eyes over the products you are buying, as is the case when you buy at your local pharmacy.

Holidays are Changing

I’m trying to talk my parents and in-laws into coming to our place for Thanksgiving.

Ever since leaving for college at age 18, I’ve traveled over the holidays.

My hubby and I are moving in early November, and we’ll hopefully be settled into our new place by Turkey Day. I’d hate to move in and then turn around and leave right away. Plus, it sounds fun to host the holidays. Of course, I’ve never cooked a Thanksgiving dinner before, but a minor detail, right? I can figure it out.

One year I asked my mom if she’d teach me to cook the turkey. I arrived at her house ready to tackle the bird and learn how to make stuffing. My grandmother was visiting too. The two of them have been taking on Thanksgiving together forever, and despite my good intentions, everyone fell into their normal roles that year. My brother helped mash the potatoes, my dad prepared to carve, I found myself setting the table, pouring the wine, and arranging the relish tray. My mom and grandmother had their own rhythm and didn’t need anyone – including me – butting in. Or maybe I simply got distracted watching whatever movies my brother had rented from the video store. Either way, I never learned how to bake a turkey. (Actually, bake or roast?)

This year will be different. My grandmother no longer travels. One of my brothers is married and will be away. I’ve pegged the local, sustainable farm where I plan to purchase Mr. Tom. (For any vegetarians, here are some recipes I stumbled across on GentleThanksgiving.org).

My parents jumped on the chance to come to my place for a change. I hope my in-laws do too.

Times are changing. Times are changing.

Part of me is nervous about altering the rhythm of our holiday, but I’m excited too.
